You can embed published donation, subscribe, and membership enrollment forms in an existing website. You need access to the website editor as well as permission to edit the Advocora form.

Add the embed

  1. Open the saved form under Admin Settings and complete its setup.
  2. Under Allowed embed origins, enter the website origins that will host it, one per line. Use an origin such as https://www.example.org, without a page path. https://example.org and https://www.example.org are different origins; include both if both serve the page.
  3. Set the form to Published and save.
  4. Find its embed section and copy Script (recommended).
  5. Paste the complete snippet into your website’s custom HTML/code block at the desired location, then publish that website page.
  6. Open the website page in a signed-out browser and on a phone. Check that the full form and confirmation area remain visible as their height changes.
Copy the snippet from the environment you intend to use. A snippet copied from a local development application points to that local application.

If your website restricts scripts

Use the Iframe fallback supplied by Advocora. If the website removes the accompanying resizing script, the iframe will need an explicit height configured by your website administrator. Do not leave a zero-height iframe on the page. For donation embeds, preserve the payment permission included in the generated iframe. Do not remove attributes from the copied snippet without understanding their effect on payment methods.

Troubleshooting

If you change a form’s content, reload the website page to check the updated result. Keep the original public link available as a fallback while resolving website-specific embed issues.
