# Review advocacy activity

> Understand synced supporter actions and connect advocacy engagement to CRM contacts.

The **Advocacy** area shows supporter activity from your organization's connected Conservative States integration. It is available when the required module/integration is enabled; it is not a general campaign-authoring screen.

## Read the dashboard

1. Expand **Advocacy** in the sidebar and open **Dashboard**.
2. Review the summary counts, activity trend, top issues, and top bills.
3. Review recent actions to see who acted and which campaign or bill the action concerns.
4. Check the sync-health section when data looks stale.

Open [Supporters](/advocacy/supporters) to find people, [Actions](/advocacy/actions) to inspect activity, and [Match Review](/advocacy/match-review) to connect incoming supporter records to existing individuals.

## If the module is unavailable

A not-enabled message means your administrator needs to review the organization's module and integration setup. If the area is enabled but empty, check whether the first sync has completed. Do not create duplicate contacts solely to populate an empty advocacy dashboard.

Advocacy engagement and donor status measure different behavior. A highly active advocate may not have made a gift.
